Introduction to Sales

In this section, we’re going to discuss sales. Now sales is technically a subcategory of marketing. That is, it is all wrapped up in the marketing concept or the marketing process. But sales is so important to the success of a business that we’re going to address it independently. With that being said, we’re going to go over what salespeople do.

The sales process from A to Z, sales leads and qualifying leads, the AIDA process or approach towards selling, and then the importance of customer relationships in the sales process. And then lastly, the evaluation of sales performance through controlling mechanisms. And this should provide you a base understanding of sales that you can get more information in our marketing course or in our soon to come sales course.
