Introduction to Career Documents
In this section, we’re going to talk about the ever important career documents. Probably all of us at some point have created a resume. We’re going to give detailed information on how to create one, the format, the content, that type of thing. Then we’ll move into the cover letter. And this is tricky, because cover letters vary widely, but the key aspect is they need to be used in conjunction with your resume.
From there we’ll talk about professional references and letters of recommendation and we’ll wind it up by talking about work samples and portfolios and how those are used or relevant in the career process. So with that being said, let’s jump into career documents.
