Our affiliate program is a relationship in which you can earn a commission by sharing relevant content and offers with your audience.

We use the service EasyAffiliate.com to manage our affiliate relationships.

Out affiliate program allows affiliate to:

• Promote The Business Professor content with tracking assets for subscription-specific links.
• Access creative assets and tracking links to add to your website, blog, social media, or email newsletters.
• Earn money with competitive commission rates for valid purchases made through your affiliate tracking links.
• View and understand your sales by tracking performance through your network account.

You can easily set up, access affiliate links and media, and monitor your affiliate earnings.

Commission rates for subscriptions are 30% of the initial membership purchase price. This applies to annual and monthly memberships.

The entitlement to receive a commission applies only the initial subscription purchase. For example, the sale of a $100 subscription for 1 year earns a commission of $30. A $19 subscription for 1 month earns a commission of $11.40.

IMPORTANT: No commission will be earned or paid if the subscription is renewed for subsequent periods.

Commissions will be paid once a month via PayPal. For an Affiliate to receive a commission, the referred account must remain active for a minimum of 30 days.

No Self-Referral Commissions

You cannot refer yourself and receive a commission. That is, you will not receive a commission on your own accounts. Any affiliate found to accept a commission for personal accounts will be removed as an affiliate.

1 Commission Per Referral

There is also a limit of one commission per referral. If someone clicks the link on your site and orders multiple accounts, then you will receive a commission on the first order only. This rule applies as well to businesses purchasing multiple accounts for employees.

Completed Transactions

Payments will only be sent for transactions that have been successfully completed. Transactions that result in chargebacks or refunds will not be paid out.

Approval

We will only approve a limited number of affiliates who can demonstrate their ability to effectively and ethically promote our community.

Rejection

We reserve the right to reject ANY Affiliate Program Application in our sole and absolute discretion.

Timing

We review affiliate applications continuously. We will generally provide a response or request for additional information within 72 hours of receipt of the affiliate application.

No Agreement

Any approval to a request to join the Affiliate Program is preliminary in nature and does not result in an agreement or professional relationship between the applicant and our business. An agreement is formed and exists only upon the execution of a written agreement by authorized parties or representatives of the proposing party and The Business Professor, LLC

Release and Disclaimer

By applying to be an affiliate, you expressly disclaim any claim and release The Business Professor, LLC from any legal recourse for the rejection of your Affiliate Program Application.

Your affiliate application and status in the affiliate program may be suspended or terminated at any time and for any reason, including, but not limited to the following:

• Inappropriate advertisements (false claims, misleading hyperlinks, etc.).
• Spamming (mass email, mass newsgroup posting, etc.).
• Advertising on sites containing or promoting illegal activities.
• Failure to disclose the affiliate relationship for any promotion that qualifies as an endorsement under existing Federal Trade Commission guidelines and regulations, or any applicable state laws.
• Violation of intellectual property rights. MemberPress reserves the right to require license agreements from those who employ trademarks of MemberPress in order to protect our intellectual property rights.
• Offering rebates, coupons, or other form of promised kick-backs from your affiliate commission as an incentive. Adding bonuses or bundling other products with MemberPress, however, is acceptable.
• Self referrals, fraudulent transactions, suspected Affiliate fraud.

In addition to the foregoing, we reserve the right to terminate any Affiliate account at any time, for any violations of this Agreement or no reason.

We provide unique affiliate links for use by affiliates in our program.

Affiliates may use ONLY the graphics and text provided by us to promote said links. You must receive specific permission from us before creating or using any graphics not created and provided by us.

You may use graphic and text links both on your website and within in your email messages. You may also advertise the our community in online and offline classified ads, magazines, and newspapers.

We occasionally offers coupon to select affiliates and to our newsletter subscribers. If you’re not pre-approved / assigned a branded coupon, then you’re not allowed to promote the coupon. Below are the terms that apply for any affiliate who is considering the promotion of our products in relation to a deal or coupon:

• Affiliates may not use misleading text on affiliate links, buttons or images to imply that anything besides currently authorized deals to the specific affiliate.
• Affiliates may not bid on MemberPress Coupons, MemberPress Discounts or other phrases implying coupons are available.
• Affiliates may not generate pop-ups, pop-unders, iframes, frames, or any other seen or unseen actions that set affiliate cookies unless the user has expressed a clear and explicit interest in activating a specific savings by clicking on a clearly marked link, button or image for that particular coupon or deal. Your link must send the visitor to the merchant site.
• User must be able to see coupon/deal/savings information and details before an affiliate cookie is set (i.e. “click here to see coupons and open a window to merchant site” is NOT allowed).
• Affiliate sites may not have “Click for (or to see) Deal/Coupon” or any variation, when there are no coupons or deals available, and the click opens the merchant site or sets a cookie. Affiliates with such text on the merchant landing page will be removed from the program immediately.

PPC bidding in connection with our affiliate program is NOT allowed without prior written permission.

Any affiliate identified as employing PPC ads to promote our affiliate links will be removed from the Affiliate Program and any commissions forfeited.

The Business Professor, LLC will not be liable for indirect or accidental damages (loss of revenue, commissions) due to affiliate tracking failures, loss of database files, or any results of intents of harm to the Program and/or to our website(s).

We do not make any expressed or implied warranties with respect to the Program and/or the memberships or products sold by MemberPress. We make no claim that the operation of the Program and/or our website(s) will be error-free and we will not be liable for any interruptions or errors.

Affiliate expressly agree to  indemnify and hold harmless The Business Professor, LLC and its affiliate and subsidiary companies, officers, directors, employees, licensees, successors and assigns, including those licensed or authorized by the company to transmit and distribute materials, from any and all liabilities, damages, fines, judgments, claims, costs, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and costs) arising out of or related to any and all claims sustained in connection with this Agreement due to the negligence, misrepresentation, failure to disclose, or intentional misconduct of Affiliate.

All affiliates approved to take part in our affiliate program must execute a written, electronic contract with and provided by The Business Professor, LLC.

The agreement must be executed in accordance with proscribed procedures in the form provided by us without alteration or modification.

You can apply by clicking the link at the top of the page, “Apply”. You are asked to provide some basic information. Please also include the following information:

• Name: (Individual or Entity)
• Location: (Residence or State of Organization and Operation)
• Website(s): Company website
• Channel(s): All channels and means through which you will promote our affiliate links.
• Other Affiliate Programs: Include all companies or organizations for or through which you currently promote affiliate links.
• Statement of Interest: Provide a statement explaining why you would be a good fit to effectively and fairly promote our programs.
• Acknowledgement: Include a statement that you have read the Affiliate program FAQs, as well as the website Terms of Use, and expressly agree to these provisions.

Affiliates can track their monthly affiliate sales within the affiliate Dashboard.

Affiliate sales do not become final for 30 days. Affiliates will receive payment on the last calendar of the month following sale.

For example, Jane Doe makes at sale and earns a commission of $10 on January 2 and January 30. The total of $20 commission will be paid on February 28.  Further, all commissions received within February will be paid on March 30.

Payments will be made through PayPal.

The affiliate dashboard allows you to view your sales and commission earnings. It allows you to track metrics and download sales reports.

Each affiliate has a personalized affiliate designation. This is show in the Affiliate Dashboard.

From the Affiliate Dashboard, you can access all of the “creative” material. This includes a single text add to the membership page and several Image ads.

When you access these creatives, a unique link is automatically created for each creative image when the affiliate logs in to their affiliate dashboard.

You will be able to embed these images with the uniquely created affiliate hyperlink. Your dashboard will record any clicks and sales generated from anyone clicking on the link for a 60-day period. (That is, the first-party, cookie is enabled for a 60-day period).
